Composite Godzilla

The very first picture of Shin Godzilla I drew (Not the Meltdown one) wasn't always supposed to be a picture of Shin Godzilla. Initially it was a composite of Godzilla designs put together. That did not end up happening for that Shin Godzilla picture, but the thought was always in my mind. Since I drew that picture however, Godzilla Planet of Monsters gave us another version of the Kind of Monsters that would eventually lead to me returning to that Composite Godzilla idea.

This Godzilla I drew combines aspects of various Godzilla's across the ages. The Showa and Heisei Godzilla inspired the face, though I kept the skull shape of the Legendary version. The body shape is a mostly that of Godzilla Earth's but with the distinct chest of Shin Godzilla. The Gills are supposed to look like a fusion of Legendary and Shin's gills. Godzilla 2000 inspired the shape of the Dorsal Plates, and the ears seen on Many Godzilla designs was kept.
